Marks needed for 100 rank in NEET

An All India Rank of 100 has needed about 662 marks out of 720 in an average year. How hard the paper is moves this a lot, so here are all three cases.

646Marks, tough paper (like 2025)
662Marks, average paper
677Marks, easier paper (like 2026)

What a rank of 100 means

This is AIIMS and top-government-college territory for most categories. OBC, SC and ST students get seats at much higher (worse) ranks than General students, and state quotas vary a lot from state to state, so use this as a first check, not a final answer.

The gap between an easy and a tough year is 31 marks at this rank. In NEET that's about 6 questions, which is why a score that felt good in 2025 would have meant a much lower rank in 2026.

These are estimates based on NEET 2025 and 2026 results. Your official rank comes from NTA. Use this to set a target, not to fix counselling choices.
