Element Hunt

One element a day. Five clues. How few do you need?

Updated 28 October 2026Free · no sign-up

    How to play

    1. You start with one clue about today's element.
    2. Type your guess. Every wrong guess unlocks the next clue.
    3. You have five clues in all. Fewer clues means a better score.
    4. A new element arrives every midnight, India time. Everyone gets the same one.

All answers come from 41 elements that show up again and again in JEE and NEET: the first 20, the important transition metals, the halogens and noble gases, and a few heavy ones like gold, mercury, lead and uranium.

    Why it helps

Periodic table questions in JEE Main and NEET are rarely about one fact. They link position, block, properties and uses. Working backwards from clues builds exactly those links, and it takes under two minutes a day.

    Questions students ask

    Is Element Hunt free?

Yes. No sign-up, nothing to install. Your streak is saved only on your own device.

Can I play more than once a day?

Yes. The daily puzzle is the same for everyone. After that, tap Practice round for random elements.

What does the share result mean?

Red squares are wrong guesses, the green one is where you found it. A 1/5 means you got it from the first clue.
