How to play
- Each day you get five equations: two warm-ups, two medium and one tough redox reaction.
- Tap + and − (or type a number) to change the coefficient in front of each formula.
- The atom counter turns green for every element that matches on both sides. Balance them all, with the smallest whole numbers, to move on.
- Stuck? Show the answer. It counts as revealed (🟨) instead of solved (🟩).
The puzzles change at midnight India time, and everyone gets the same five. The equations come from NCERT Class 10, 11 and 12 Chemistry: combustion, metals with acids, decomposition, and the redox reactions that keep showing up in JEE Main and NEET.
Why it helps
Balancing is a speed skill. In the exam, a stoichiometry or redox question often starts with balancing, and doing it in 20 seconds instead of two minutes adds up. Five a day is enough to make the pattern automatic. If you want to check a reaction from your notes, use the equation balancer.
Questions students ask
Is Balance It free?
Yes. No sign-up and nothing to install. Your streak is saved only on your own device.
Why won't it accept my balanced answer?
If every coefficient divides by the same number, it asks you to simplify. 4H2 + 2O2 → 4H2O is balanced, but the answer is 2H2 + O2 → 2H2O.
Can I play more than once a day?
The daily five are the same for everyone and count towards your streak. After that, tap Practice round for a random set.
